Contracts Administrator, Lead

Key Role:

Work on every element of government acquisition, including requests for proposal, pricing, financial analysis, program management, and subcontracting. Negotiate and administer contracts with the US government and subcontracts with large and small business prime contractors across the breadth of contract types. Negotiate teaming and non-disclosure agreements and organizational conflict of interest plans and review and analyze solicitations for potential risks and suggested proposal strategies, including compliance with requirements and the recommended pricing approach. Serve as an advisor for legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations. Monitor performance for conformance with contract compliance, including identifying and escalating problems that may threaten performance. Serve as a career manager for other contract administrators on the team. Join the team and provide full life cycle strategic contracts administration leadership and support internal and external clients.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with contract administration, negotiations, and proposal preparation
  • Experience with all contract types, including Cost Plus, Fixed Price, Time & Materials, and Incentive fee
  • Experience with Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) terms and plans
  • Experience as a mentor and reviewing the work of junior employees
  • Experience with reviewing terms and conditions and statements of work for areas of risk and risk mitigation in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of US government regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external clients through consistent communication and follow-up
  • Ability to stay organized and manage time
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with supporting DoJ contracts
  • Experience as a career manager for direct reports
