Contracts Senior Manager

Key Role:

Lead the provision of Contracts support for a portfolio of emerging technology and analytics engagements across Booz Allen’s Government business. Work closely with business stakeholders as a thought leader to help develop strategies and options for delivering cutting-edge services and product sales. Review and analyze client opportunities and internal development efforts for potential risks and suggested proposal strategies, including compliance with requirements, applicable standards, or regulations. Develop and recommend strategies to manage risk across the portfolio of contracts and engagements. Assist with proposal development, including solicitation reviews, risk identification, and the development of mitigation strategies. Negotiate customer agreements, teaming and subcontract agreements, and contracts with government and commercial clients. Assist with analyzing federal regulations related to evolving technologies and providing advice on how to best implement to ensure compliance. Monitor performance for contract compliance and identify and escalate problems that may impact performance. Provide subject matter expertise and develop and maintain relationships with key government clients. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with contract administration and negotiation

  • 5+ years of experience with negotiations related to emerging technologies, including key terms, systems development, intellectual property protection, warranties, and pricing for a blend of commercial and government clients

  • Experience with all contract types, including fixed-price, T&M, and cost reimbursable

  • Experience with contracting methods, including Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA) and Other Transaction Authority (OTA)

  • Experience in negotiating contracts with industry partners, including non-disclosure and teaming agreements

  • Knowledge of Data Science, Software Development, or Analytics

  • Knowledge of FAR and agency supplements

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of evolving technology trends

  • Ability to support a quick paced, high-volume, diverse workload successfully

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent customer relationship development and management skills with internal and external customers

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $122,200.00 to $227,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
