Counterintelligence Investigator, Lead

The Challenge:

What if you could use your investigative and counterintelligence (CI) operational experience to help our leaders make informed decisions? With all the information available today, it takes a skilled investigator to know how to find, interpret, and present the best data to give leadership the right answers. As a CI investigator, you will use your specialized functional expertise and your attention to detail to research, investigate, and analyze disparate data sources to determine context, identify risk and author reports. You’ll serve as a subject matter expert, performing investigative and defensive CI tasks with a focus on corporate risk mitigation to help leadership understand threats and vulnerabilities. You will also support the detection, response, mitigations and reporting of cyber-related threats affecting corporate or client networks as well as conducting incident response activities. These activities will be conducted with a customer-service mindset, while working in a fast-paced environment with little supervision and maintaining attention to a high-level of detail to ensure transparent communication and task completion.

As the authority on CI, your leadership will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset into other areas. You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience as a credentialed CI Special Agent or in specialized CI operations
  • 10+ years of experience in the intelligence community
  • 7+ years of experience with conducting investigations
  • 5+ years of experience with briefings and presentations
  • Experience with conducting CI operations
  • Ability to multitask and make decisions based on various contextual data sets
  • Top Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with open-source intelligence (OSINT)
  • Experience with human intelligence (HUMINT)

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
