Data Scientist Mission Integrator, Lead

The Opportunity:

Across private and public sectors—from fraud detection to cancer research to national intelligence—we need a seasoned data scientist like you to help find the answers in the data. 

As a Data Scientist Mission Integrator, you will track, manage, and task-organize data science, data engineering, systems operation and maintenance, and data analytics tasks to ensure deliverables and products meet mission priorities. You'll identify and document expressed and implied Sponsor functional requirements into technical requirements. You will ensure technical timelines and milestones are met. You'll perform quality assurance checks on deliverables to customers and stakeholders. You will deconflict data science and data engineering requirements to ensure data science products meet customer needs. With your direct client delivery expertise, you will be asked to lead technical solutioning and technical team delivery within the Intelligence Community.

You Have:   

  • 8+ years of experience with leading software development or technical development teams using Agile or Scrum Development methodologies
  • Experience with developing technical requirements from stakeholder functional requirements and implementing execution on those requirements according to available resources, scheduling, and capacity
  • Experience in written and verbal communication on complex analytic methods, technologies, and development patterns for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with implementing modern software development practices and approaches, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, or DevOps to develop custom software or scripting products
  • Experience with leading technical teams in a management or subject matter expert advisory capability
  • Experience with natural language processing tools and techniques
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree 

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience with implementing software development methodologies for IC customers
  • Experience with designing IC solutions based on user requirements
  • Knowledge of IC cloud services on classified networks
  • Knowledge of descriptive statistics, regression, and data labeling or classification models

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
