Digital Investigations Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Work within the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) as part of the digital forensics team. Employ advanced industry standard forensic tools and techniques towards the collection and analysis of volatile data and dead box systems. Support internal legal eDiscovery investigations with digital collections, preservation, review, analysis, and reporting. Support ethics investigations as a forensic subject matter expert directly coordinating with associated business units. Conduct intrusion-based investigations, including evidence driven incident response investigations.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with digital forensics technologies, industry standard processes, and network or system engineering services

-Experience with common commercial forensic tools, including EnCase Forensic, AccessData FTK, AccessData Enterprise, and AccessData eDiscovery WinHex X-ways

-Experience with common forensic open source tools, including BackTrack or Kali, SleuthKit, and SILT

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, Information Security, Computer Forensic and Digital Investigation, or Digital Forensic Science

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with analytical, critical and solution-oriented thinking, logic, customer service, and teaming expertise

-Experience in working with local system administration and varying file system types, incluing HFS, HFS+, NTFS, and FAT12, 16, or 32

-Knowledge of networking, system administration, architectures, and security elements

-Knowledge of network protocols and services

-Knowledge of eDiscovery principles, concepts, techniques, and best practices as it relates to the litigation process

-Knowledge of mobile collection, review, analysis, and reporting using industry standard software or devices, including Lantern, Black Light, and Cellebrite

-Knowledge of Apple Macintosh forensic techniques 

-Knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)

-Ability to quickly learn new analysis techniques with guidance from other team members

-Ability to adapt quickly and pay strict attention to detail

-Ability to show a commitment to the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct

-Ability to be self-motivated and work independently on multiple projects

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-CCE, CFCE, CFDI, EnCE, EnCEP, ACE, or other industry related certification
