Digital Transformation and Social Media Product Manager

Key Role:

Support efforts to deploy, integrate, moderate, and adopt technology for a SaaS-based internal social media engagement platform across Booz Allen’s enterprise. Maintain responsibility for creating, posting and managing content within the platform to educate users on how to use social media at work. Leverage best practices, etiquette, and tips. Support the team to drive a community of practice, including the creation, management, and engagement with various community owners. Leverage collaboration, business intelligence, and data analysis skills to optimize the usage and adoption of the platform and communicating its value to both technical and business stakeholders. Maintain responsibility for the day-to-day platform moderation activities working with various internal communications partners. Maintain responsibility for supporting the roadmap that aligns with the vendor’s updates and the organization’s goals. Support the team to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for all users. Collect and analyze user feedback and provide actionable insights to the product development team. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a product owner or project manager

  • 3+ years of experience with social media platforms such as Microsoft Viva Engage, Yammer, or Facebook at Work

  • 3+ years of experience producing high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms, including Instagram reels, stories, images, videos, and written posts

  • Experience delivering impactful social media campaigns

  • Experience translating collected data and feedback into continuous actionable improvements or a business case

  • Experience solving complex problems through human-centric solutions

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with managing day-to-day operations with external vendors

  • Experience with business process development and reengineering

  • Knowledge of customer service operations and associated ticketing systems

  • Knowledge of basic artificial intelligence concepts and automation concepts

  • Possession of strong organizational skills

  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
