The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and disciplined EVM Project Cost Analyst to drive EVM Operations from the project finance and cost control perspective and facilitate program cost and agile schedule inputs within the EVM Cost Tool, Deltek Cobra. This opportunity interfaces with multiple project management personnel to facilitate effective and efficient EIA-748 caliber EVM Cost and Schedule Data Integration, Validation, and Analytics. Routine operations include supporting program planning and startup activities, assisting with establishing budget targets with CAMs and PMs, creating program Control Accounts and Work Package structure, importing agile schedule and resource data into EVM Cost Tool, facilitating monthly EVM Business Rhythm activities, assessing Estimate at Completions (EACs), conducting data quality and validation and DCMA EV Compliance Metrics (DECM) checks, supporting Variance Analysis, and instilling appropriate change management and control principles.

You Have:
3+ years of experience with program finance or cost control
Experience with Microsoft Excel formulas and pivot tables
Experience with Microsoft Office
Ability to perform detailed cost analysis and variance reporting
Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing
Ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to pay strict attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with large-scale projects in industries, such as Defense, Aerospace, or Information Technology
Experience with Cost and Software Data Reporting (CSDR), 1921 Legacy Report, Cost and Hour Report, and Quantity Reports
Experience on a program with EIA-748 Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements, IMS and CPR, IPMR, and IPMDAR deliverables
Experience with Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs)
Experience with Agile Methodology and Atlassian tools, including JIRA and Confluence
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS)
Possession of excellent analytical skills
Project Management Professional (PMP) or EVM Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
