The Opportunity:

In this role you will integrate cybersecurity designs for Products with multilevel security requirements and document and address Booz Allen’s information security, cybersecurity architecture, and systems security engineering requirements throughout the Product acquisition lifecycle. You’ll ensure that acquired or developed Products are consistent with Booz Allen's cybersecurity architecture guidelines and evaluate Product security architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security design and architecture proposed or provided in response to requirements.
As the Lead responsible for the cyber architecture of Booz Allen's Products, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's cybersecurity capabilities worldwide. You will be at the forefront, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure Booz Allen’s internally developed Products are highly secure, meet all compliance requirements, and are appropriately architected from a cybersecurity perspective. This Product focus will ensure Booz Allen’s cybersecurity principles, cyber controls, and Product risk are effectively managed within the go-to-market product lifecycle.
You will implement the strategic direction defined in collaboration with the Director of Cyber Architecture and Engineering. You will lead evaluations, analyses, troubleshooting, and providing guidance related to Product system, network, application, and security architectures. Additionally, you will create Product security guidance, best practices, and general corporate security Standards and Reference Architectures.
You will be the primary lead representing Enterprise Cybersecurity through the Product lifecycle. You will have primary responsibility for leading Product architecture and design efforts in collaboration with other technical sector experts, providing an integrated security ecosystem to deter, detect, defend, and respond to business-impacting security, operational security, and risk issues. Additionally, you will be a key partner to IT, business teams, and the business aligned Information Security Officers (BISOs).
Your skills in independently conducting technical analysis of security and business problems, as well as addressing threats, incidents, investigations, workforce protection, and other general security-related issues, will be crucial. You will communicate and participate in coordinating response and defensive actions across various security disciplines, disseminating technical information as appropriate to support Booz Allen's critical business, go-to-market, and operational infrastructure needs. Additionally, the ability to accurately and simply codify cyber architectures within written Standards and Reference Architectures is crucial for success.

You Have:
5+ years of experience solving challenging technical problems in two or more of the following areas: product development, product security, application security, information security, or digital platform security
3+ years of experience with cybersecurity architecture, cyber solution security design, strategies, and risk management
Experience and expertise in product cybersecurity solution, including tools, processes, industry leaders, or landscape
Experience with application development and security integration
Experience communicating and interacting with software development organizations at a leadership or individual contributor level, including collaborating with the professional confidence and credibility to effectively engage and interact with technologists and leaders across the enterprise
Knowledge of key cyber threats, including nation state actors, malware or ransomware, command and control infrastructures, and mitigations within the product lifecycle
Ability to design, deploy, and maintain complex architectures, technical capabilities, or products in enterprise class organizations
Ability to quickly comprehend complex problems, draw logical conclusions, make sound decisions, develop solutions, and drive closure
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience working in the product or cyber industry, or 7+ years of experience working in the product or cyber industry in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience building complex, multi-service IT architectures
Experience with programming or scripting languages
Knowledge of the use of databases for reporting, including SQL language
Knowledge of the applications of Artificial Intelligence in security
IT Architecture Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
