Key Role:
Serve as a subject matter expert on environmental compliance issues affecting government facilities. Perform analysis on the drafting of policy statements, standard operating procedures, fact sheets, newsletter articles, and other communications regarding current and future environmental regulations affecting the government. Develop and review environmental compliance and management plans. Provide technical environmental regulatory assistance and guidance to facilitate environmental compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct environmental compliance inspections, audits, and evaluations as directed by the government to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Update and monitor environmental regulatory permits held by the government and develop and conduct environmental compliance training for government employees and contractors. Review National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and provide facilities' project managers advice on NEPA applicability. Provide direct project management for surge initiatives and stewardship activities.
Basic Qualifications
Experience with environmental compliance issues
Experience with environmental planning, including NEPA analysis
Ability to manage competing requirements
Ability to coordinate administrative tasks
Ability to come up with creative and innovative solutions
Ability to provide schedule management and development for long-term projects
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Chemistry, Biology, or Microbiology
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
