Federal Sales Manager, Lead

Key Role:

Build and maintain client relationships at senior levels, most specifically in the Federal markets and identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities. Create demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with clients. Achieve revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account and by expanding into new accounts and territories. Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the client's senior management to comprehend their needs and link them to the organization's product or service strategies. Leverage knowledge of business, financials, products or services, the market, and the needs of assigned accounts to close complex consultative sales. Serve as a team lead working on high complexity tasks in the account, products and services, and sales or account management process. Contribute to marketing strategy and materials development in support of overall sales strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with sales or business development

-8+ years of experience with selling software or products into Federal space

-Experience building a pipeline and strategic sales account plan, and closing business deals in the Federal space to meet and exceed sales quotas

-Ability to leverage background and connections in DoD, Intel, and other Federal organizations

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with selling privacy or Cybersecurity services to Federal clients preferred

-Experience with DoD or Intelligence Community preferred

-Experience with Cybersecurity, SaaS, or IT services

-Experience in maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales opportunity information with HubSpot or other CRM systems

-Experience in working with channel partners

-Knowledge of the endpoint security, enterprise mobility, and mobile product space, trends, and direction

-Ability to pay attention to detail and follow-up

-Ability to deliver compelling and effective technical product presentations and demonstrations in both virtual and live settings

-Ability to work cross-functionally and display a passion for sales

-Secret clearance preferred
