Future Technology Strategist, Senior

Key Role:

Explore a new understanding of the future of technology and the underlying societal trends driving its evolution. Leverage an unusual mix of creativity, analytical rigor, and incisive research for supporting client solutions. Develop research methodology and standards, and lead principal research projects in a broad range of subjects and focus areas, including technology trends, scientific breakthroughs, geopolitical and financial shifts, and the societal tectonics driving it all. Support research that will be fundamental to our modeling and analysis and provide the data-driven foundation for our Grand Unified Theory of the Future. Dig deep into an issue or research question to understand it from its principles to its particulars, and then connect the findings to broader strategies and concepts. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in technology and artificial intelligence-related domains, including in a professional, academic, diplomatic or teaching environment

  • Ability to quickly extract and synthesize key facts and insights from multiple sources, including complex studies and scientific papers

  • Ability to think critically in an ambiguous strategic environment and contribute tangible signals, insights, and recommendations to leadership in a coherent manner

  • Ability to optimize value and contributions in a manner that prioritizes team cohesion and performance and individual performance

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Master's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with directly supporting the U.S. Government or major corporation in a research capacity

  • Experience as a technology thought leader, including in publishing, patents, authorship, conference speaking, or guest lectures and presentations

  • Ability to provide a portfolio of sample analysis and research

  • Doctorate degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics  (STEM) field

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 120,000 to 150,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
