IT Strategy and Business Intelligence SME

Key Role:

Join a team responsible for innovative reporting and analytics, process improvement, and development and administration of an enterprise financial pricing system. Work on cross-cut functions with a primary focus on reporting and analytics and keep an additional focus on digital IT strategy and business process improvement. Extract qualitative and quantitative relationships, including patterns and trends from large amounts of data and conceptualize, design, and build analytics solutions to improve outcomes and uncover key insights. Be generally viewed as an advanced consultant with capability knowledge who excels at client delivery and can take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital in order to help the firm or team's objectives. Serve as liaison between IT and functional staff regarding systems development, as needed and apply expertise in databases, including T-SQL, modern business intelligence (BI) tools, including Tableau, and general programming concepts. Envision longer-term functional objectives and translate into shorter-term tasks while establishing processes and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient operation of a somewhat complex function for the firm. Use broad expertise or unique knowledge to contribute to the development of firm or team objectives to achieve goals in creative, cost-efficient, and effective ways.

Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience as a business analyst, pricing analyst, or consultant working at the intersection of technology, finance, and business strategy

-5 years of experience with consulting or government contracting, including delivering financial, technical, or business intelligence strategies

-Experience in working with Microsoft Office, including Excel, such as VBA

-Experience with Tableau, including +T-SQL

-Experience with applying business acumen to reporting, analytics, and BI methodologies

-Ability to author complex documents describing and visualizing analytical results

-Ability to be a self-motivated, assertive, independent individual who can work effectively with teams

-Ability to interface with various stakeholders representing highly visible programs
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in Finance or Business

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with finance or pricing in a government contractor environment

-Experience with Excel VBA, MS SQL Server and T-SQL, and Python

-Ability to understand the big picture, envision a future state, and the roadmap to get there

-Ability to be an open-minded, flexible individual who brings ideas to the table and welcomes alternative ideas or feedback

-Ability to be deadline-driven and know how to prioritize and re-prioritize in a dynamic environment

-Ability to show flexibility, initiative, and innovation in dealing with ambiguous, fast-paced situations

-Ability to be innovative with an entrepreneurial spirit

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills

-MBA degree
