You focus on implementing and operating next generation security solutions for federal government agencies and departments. As a technical team member, you’ll perform hands-on evaluation, implementation, and operation of leading security Cyber defense tools and technologies. You’ll apply in-depth defense strategies in large and complex networks to rapidly identify vulnerabilities and threats, prioritize response actions, and develop effective counter-measures. You’ll use technical expertise to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices through Cybersecurity. Your team will enable internal project teams to create and develop solutions by assisting them with the technical design and implementation of their lab and development environments. You’ll regularly liaise between key internal Booz Allen IT staff and other technical team members to ensure requirements are met. You’ll support innovation by staying up-to-date on the latest technology and maintain the lab environments, capacity, and infrastructure. You’ll assist high performing teams with monitoring and providing system life cycle management to the environment as it continues to evolve in the ever-changing landscape.

You Have:

-Experience with troubleshooting, networking, server management, and virtual environments and creating standard operating procedures and documentation

-Experience with managing servers for Windows, Linux, and macOS

-Experience with managing activities in VMware environments

-Experience with maintaining ServiceNow operational ticketing system or equivalent

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with scripting, including Shell Scripting, AppleScript, and PowerShell

-Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, and frameworks and federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems

-BA or BS degree
