As a solutions architect on our team, you'll translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting full-stack technology solutions. As a solutions architect on our team, you'll translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting detailed system documentation, including system diagrams and design specifications, assist with proposal technical section development, performing functional and technical proof of concepts.

You will work as a member of an agile team and help lead design, development, deployment and maintenance of enterprise software systems, maintain responsibility for meeting software quality and security standards, evaluate hardware and software interfaces, operational requirements, and characteristics of the overall system. You will also support processes to review and analyze requirements and acceptance criteria and provide Level of Effort estimates. Through your leadership, we’ll help transform the way Federal civilian agencies use technology, including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems. You Have:

• 8+ years of experience as an architect with a successful track record of planning, designing, and implementing large software systems
• Experience with software development and modernization efforts using Java or other scripting languages
• Experience with database development using RDBMS or NoSQL databases
• Experience with leading Agile and DevSecOps environments and applying full-stack IT modernization approaches, including application re-platforming and refactoring and delivering systems for resilience, reliability, performance, and high availability
• Experience with continuous integration (CI) or continuous deployment (CD) pipelines in public or hybrid cloud environments using Jenkins, GitLab, Apache Subversion, Ansible, Puppet, or AWS Cloud Forms
• Experience with domain-driven architectures and design and development of microservices-based solutions using platforms, including AWS EKS, Azure AKS, RedHat OpenShift, or Docker Enterprise
• Experience with proposal writing on technical sections, including leading teams in content development
• Experience with creating detailed system documentation, including system diagrams
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• BA or BS degree

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Agile practices and tools, including JIRA or GIT
• Experience with modern software development, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Test Driven Design (TDD), DevOps, and DevSecOps, ITIL, and Six Sigma
• Experience with Cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
• Experience with cloud computing including IaaS and PaaS offerings
• Experience with performing design and code reviews to ensure coding standards are met
• Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams and business and technical stakeholders and communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Experience with Java development, including Java EE technologies, such as Spring and Front-end frameworks, such as Angular
• Experience with managing software releases and configurations
• Experience with various technologies, including Apache Tools, SQL, MongoDB, Oracle, and Maven
• Knowledge of any of the following: ELK, Prometheus/Grafana, GitLab, SonarQube, TwistLock, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, nginx, traefik, haproxy, Hadoop, or SOLR
• Knowledge of an insatiable drive to tinker, including testing out different capabilities with Docker
• Knowledge of Architectural Modeling, Data Modeling, Software Infrastructure, IT standards, Platform Architecture, Project Management, Tactical Planning, Risk Management, Software Product Design, Problem-Solving, Effectiveness measurement, IT Procedures, Strategic Planning, Software Architecture, or IT Policies
• Ability to integrate technical and functional considerations into comprehensive software designs and proposal documentation
• AWS Certifications
