Key Role:
Support the deployment and implementation of cyber engineering strategies, tools and techniques which contribute to enhancing the cybersecurity posture of U.S. Civilian agencies. Analyze recommended improvements to engineering requirements and specifications. Provide engineering and deployment support for distributed Splunk environments consisting of heavy forwarders, indexers, and search heads, spanning security, performance, and operational roles. Support the full system engineering life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, test, documentation, and implementation. Perform data analysis for anomalies and trends and analyze dashboards highlighting key data trends. Support Splunk deployments in Windows and Linux environments and edit and maintain Splunk configuration files and apps. Work with Integration Leads and collaborate with Data Integration developers in preparation for Splunk app deployments. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
Basic Requirements:
3+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise, including writing Splunk queries in SPL
3+ years of experience with Linux OS, services, daemons, containers, and VMs
Ability to obtain a security clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional Requirements:
1+ years of experience with Python
Experience with CDM tools and agencies, including CDM tools and the role they play in government environments
Experience with leading the execution of FISMA-related programs across large and complex multi-agency environments
Experience with leading and identifying security-related gaps in government environments and identifying and implementing solutions to close those gaps
Ability to be patient with a friendly demeanor, even under stressful circumstances
Possession of excellent time management skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree
Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect Certification

Compensation:
The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $100,000 to $120,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
