Strategic Communications Specialist

Key Role:

Prepare publication materials, employee communications, newsletters, bulletins, and informational materials for internal or external audiences. Work under the direction of senior staff and create or contribute to talking points, executive communications, and Microsoft PowerPoint briefings. Perform event planning and management. This position is 100% client-facing.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience in a professional work environment
-2+ years of experience with supporting a government agency in some capacity
-Experience with writing and editing, including tailoring content to different audiences' needs and level of understanding
-Knowledge of various style guides and rules of grammar and punctuation
-Ability to identify improvements in the client's processes or offerings and recommend solutions
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required
-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with website content management systems, including Joomla and WordPress or HTML a plus
-Experience with government consulting a plus
-Knowledge of the client's communications channels and client culture a plus


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
