Technical Counterintelligence Targeting Analyst

As a technical ounterintelligence targeting analyst, you use your specialized technical, language, regional, functional, or military experience and your attention to detail to analyze reports, intelligence, products, and analytical assessments to give your client actionable intelligence and context they need. As a Technical Counterintelligence Targeting Analyst on our team, you’ll help your client understand their mission environment. Using your understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources including SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, MASINT, and open source. You’ll validate the information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for warfighters, senior policymakers, and internal client publications. As the authority on your topic, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in scripting and report writing and share your methodologies with other analysts. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience working in the IC supporting clandestine operations

  • Experience in CI functional areas, vetting technologies and capabilities, analytic tools, and communications processes used in client operations

  • Experience in overseeing or conducting offensive and defensive operations and due diligence, analyzing operations, recognizing vulnerabilities and threats, and providing solutions to enhance the security of a case or program

  • Experience with conducting assessments of complex operations using a broad range of research methods and tools to identify CI issues and security vulnerabilities, including vulnerabilities associated with the use of technology, to enhance the integrity of client operations

  • Knowledge of CI concepts and principles necessary to plan and conduct a range of CI support to operations and platforms

  • Ability to convey appropriate vetting options and tailored CI requirements to improve operational security of ongoing cases

  • Ability to show a proven record of accomplishing tasks under limited supervision

  • Ability to work as a member of a team or independently, across the IC and private sector to find solutions to difficult operational CI issues

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree
