Technical Lead

Key Role:

Lead a team of software engineers to guide your team to success with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, agile environment. Leverage experience building an Enterprise Case Management system from vision to a production-ready system. Knowledge of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to build a user focused solution. Lead a team of engineers and software developers using the latest architectural approaches alongside open-source frameworks and incorporate new tools and techniques to identify and implement system improvements. Analyze the needs and the environment to ensure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience working directly with engineering and software development teams delivering software to production

  • Experience managing a team of 25+ FTEs

  • Experience with delivering and leading Scrum, Kanban, or Agile-based teams

  • Experience with designing and implementing large-scale solutions serving multiple business units or customers

  • Experience with leading the integration of API or REST-based services

  • Knowledge of Agile Lifecycle Management tools, including Jira, TFS, or Rational for tracking, reporting, and documentation

  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including C# and Java

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with implementing a DevOps CI/CD pipeline and deploying automation tools, including Jenkins or Docker

  • Experience working with large federal organizations in a consulting-based role

  • Knowledge of COTS-based implementations, including Salesforce, ServiceNow, Pega, or Appian

  • Knowledge of Cloud-based technologies, including AWS, or Azure

  • SAFe certification

  • Agile CSM Certification

  • AWS or DevOps Certifications
