As a leader in systems engineering, we’re looking for you to solve complex challenges and shape the VA’s Community Care services by leading a team to improve time to access community care service for Veterans. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. Share your expertise through leadership and mentoring, while broadening your experience in systems engineering and delivering enterprise solutions for the VA. You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience delivering large enterprise solutions from proposals to production
  • 8+ years of experience gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing business and system requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
  • 8+ years of experience developing architectures using advanced system engineering principles
  • 8+ years of experience in software integrations
  • Experience working with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and OpenAPI Specification
  • Experience with data management, including data exploration, data analysis, and data schema validation
  • Experience with Agile and SAFe methodologies
  • Knowledge of IT systems, standards, and procedures
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with medical Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
  • Experience with federal stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with SysML, SQL, Python, Postman, and Swagger UI
  • Experience managing a team, including projects and deliverables
  • Ability to think critically and independently
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills

  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
