Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for supporting the Application Performance Monitoring solution via SolarWinds software running on the enterprise cloud environment and on Prem. Supervise, manage, and execute the daily activities of Enterprise application monitoring design, solutions, engineering and sustainment of SolarWinds for Application Performance Monitoring efforts. Design a full monitoring solution and then instrument into all monitoring tools that best fit the application customer needs. Create documentation of all steps and training for application customer and enable integration of SolarWinds development of the single pane of glass dashboard, including integration with ServiceNow ITSM. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with SolarWinds and with installing agents, SNMP/WMI polling, APIs, performance monitoring tool alerts, dashboards, and data trend analysis in a monitoring tool
• 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow ITSM
• Experience in data engineering with SolarWinds for both ingestion and extraction
• Experience with maintaining SolarWinds and its underlying infrastructure and planning
• Experience with Windows and Linux Operating systems, services, daemons, containers, and VMs
• Experience with troubleshooting and identifying root cause issues
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• HS diploma or GED and 20+ years of experience with systems engineering or BA or BS degree and 15+ years of experience with systems engineering MA or MS degree in CS, IT, or Engineering and 10+ years of experience with systems engineering

• Experience with Agile frameworks
• Experience with the VA
• Experience with VA VistA
• Experience with the ServiceNow Visual Task Boards
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
