As a communications professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization’s reputation. We’re looking for an experienced communications specialist like you who is ready to grow and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you’ll advance your skills to design, develop, produce, and advise on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports development and employment of airmen and guardian language, regional expertise, and culture skills.
As a communications specialist on our team, you’ll closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to craft and execute strategic messaging campaigns, develop unified messaging across multiple media outlets, and tell the stories of airmen and guardians employing their language and culture skills.
As a collaborator on all aspects of verbal and written communications, you’ll author feature articles, social media posts, newsletters, promotional hand-outs, and presentations. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound with tools such as Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, and social media management, including Hoot Suite.

You Have:
1+ years of experience in public relations
Experience using Microsoft Office
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) credential within 1 year of start date
Nice If You Have:
Experience leading a marketing or public relations campaign
Experience with social media management tools
Experience building promotional products
Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field
Vetting:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
