As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like Cybersecurity. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. You Have:

-5 years of experience as a computer/server system administrator

-5 years of experience with implementing operating systems (OS) and network device security configuration in accordance with DoD approved Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

-5 years of experience with administering boundary devices, including managed switches, proxy servers, routers, and firewalls

-5 years of experience in performing vulnerability assessments using Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), DoD STIGs, and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker and incorporating automated benchmarks

-5 years of experience with correcting flaws and implementing technical controls in hardware or software within network environment

-5 years of experience with managing DoD host-Based Security Systems (HBSS)

-Top Secret clearance

-BS degree in CS or Information System Management or 5 years of experience as an IT technician on DOD classified networks

Nice If You Have:

-5 years of experience with managing campus-scale server installation

-5 years of experience with using DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management Program (IAVMP)

-DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification, including GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance.
