As an Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Planner, you’ll support the U.S. Navy with Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) planning and execution. You’ll advise, plan, develop, deliver, and assess EMSO in support of the commander’s objectives. You’ll have a strong knowledge of EMSO doctrine, tactics, techniques, procedures, and force structure. You’ll coordinate with information-related capabilities at U.S. European Command, U.S. Africa Command, and other partners to inform electronic warfare (EW) employment to strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, and operational analysis reports. You’ll advise commanders and staffs on EMSO and the effects of military actions to maximize operational performance and effectiveness. You’ll also research and develop concepts of operations, information papers, decision papers, and briefings to inform command leadership. As an authority on your topic, the command will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your EMSO expertise and skill set supporting Navy planning in the European and African theaters of operation.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with EW operations with the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, or Army
Knowledge of how the electromagnetic spectrum environment impacts real world operations, including Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) analysis and collection, manipulating the spectrum to create warfighting advantage, and planning and execution at the operational-level of war
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Joint EMSO doctrine and a Combatant Command
Experience with the planning or management of electromagnetic spectrum operations and with the United States SIGINT System (USSS)
Experience with technical signal intelligence tools and analytic applications, spectrum management tools, and EMSO reporting databases
Experience with Joint Publication 3-85 Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations
Experience with CJCSM 3320.01 series and Joint operations in the electromagnetic battle space
Knowledge of terrestrial communications, SATCOM, and GPS threats, and unmanned systems such as UAVs, USVs, and UUVs
Ability to learn new skills and tools and expand areas of knowledge as needed
Possession of excellent analytical skills at strategic and operational levels
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent organizational skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
