We are seeking Cyber Systems Engineers based on contingency of award of associated work with the U.S. Navy. As a Cyber Systems engineer on our team, you’ll support the warfare center in creation of cybersecurity assessment and authorization packages for purposes of obtaining authorization decisions. You will support the engineering, design, testing, and implementation of systems using your cyber expertise in support of the Navy’s Undersea Warfare Mission. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize Undersea Warfare and Submarine Combat Systems Hardware and Software systems.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with working in a professional engineering role
  • 1+ years of experience with applying cybersecurity principles and processes to naval
  • Experience with RMF and DIACAP processes
  • Experience with assessing cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks, propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies
  • Ability to analyze engineering documentation, requirements, and specifications
  • Ability to develop technical presentations for clients
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • CompTIA Security+, Network+, Microsoft Technology Associate, CompTIA Linux+ or Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with DoD programs and systems
  • Experience with cybersecurity systems engineering
  • Knowledge of submarine and undersea non-propulsion electronics systems (NPES)
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition and engineering processes and procedures
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree
  • IAT Level II Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
