Business Development Specialist, Lead

Executes marketing activities and conducts data analysis to identify opportunities for building business. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies. You Have:

• Experience in roles related to marketing, strategy, or business development in the aerospace industry

• Experience mentoring and leading cross-functional teams in complex environments

• Knowledge of aerospace industry trends, market dynamics, customer segments, and competitors

• Knowledge of federal acquisition processes, budgets, and key stakeholders within the aerospace and defense sectors

• Ability to analyze data sets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for market penetration in aerospace markets

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry leaders

• Bachelor’s degree 

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with marketing or strategy leadership roles for government aerospace programs or contractors 

• Experience in a technical aerospace or defense field focusing on business growth 

• Knowledge of emerging technologies in aerospace, such as advanced propulsion, space systems, or autonomous systems 

• Knowledge of international aerospace markets and export compliance regulations, including ITAR

• Ability to guide development teams on pursuing high-value opportunities in innovative aerospace solutions 

• Ability to develop and deliver thought leadership content for aerospace industry conferences or events 

• Ability to initiate strategic partnerships with other aerospace-focused companies or institutions 

• Master's degree in Business, Aerospace Engineering, or Marketing

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
