Fleet Experimentation Planner

Key Role:

Support Navy warfighting capability development as a planner for Fleet Experimentation. Work in a close, mixed team environment and assist the design, execution, analysis, and reporting of fleet experiments. Explore innovative naval concepts and technologies. Participate in experiment execution ashore and afloat in accordance with the experiment plan you helped create. Following the experiment, expect to participate in the development of reports and presentations that summarize key experiment results, findings, and insights to shape change recommendations for senior Navy leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with Fleet operations gained as a Surface Warfare qualified Junior Naval Officer

-Experience with using Microsoft Office

-Ability to balance multiple taskings, yet pay strict attention to detail

-Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

-Ability to meet the Navy’s physical requirement to embark on a US Navy ship as needed

-TS/SCI clearance

-Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience working on a numbered Fleet headquarters, Maritime Operations Center, carrier or expeditionary strike group staff, Navy tactical training group, or Warfighting Development Center

-Experience in electromagnetic maneuver warfare, electronic warfare, cryptology, information warfare, maritime domain awareness, maritime dynamic targeting, maritime C4I architectures, and intelligence processes

-Master’s degree

-Project Management Professional Certification
