Fleet Staff Lessons Learned Analyst

Key Role:

Provide support as an analyst and subject matter expert. Facilitate the transfer of Navy Lessons Learned to support Fleet and Navy operations by conducting basic research on and documenting lessons learned, preparing analytical reports and briefings, and providing lessons learned to assist fleet operations and planning. Assist the Fleet in understanding the Navy Lessons Learned Program and use of the Navy Lessons Learned Information System. This position will include embarking on Naval ships.


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience planning and executing fleet operations or exercises

-Experience with Numbered Fleet, Carrier Strike Group, or Expeditionary Strike Group

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Ability to balance multiple taskings

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail

-Ability to travel 10% of the time

-Ability to meet the Navy’s physical requirement to embark on a U.S. Navy ship as required

-Secret clearance

-Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience working in a Maritime Operations Center (MOC)

-Experience working with the Navy Lessons Learned Information System (NLLIS) or Joint Lessons learned Information System (JLLIS)

-TS/SCI clearance
