Job Description
The Challenge:
A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable global organizations and users to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, a network integration engineer who knows how to craft the exact network that our Navy and Marine Corps client needs.
As a network integration engineer on our team, you’ll work to provide network architecture design and system operational support to other systems, establish requirements, analyze and evaluate technical solutions and architecture designs, and perform solutions analyses, remote access connections, cross-domain solutions, network ports, protocols, and services configurations while meeting network requirements. Additionally, you will analyze network activity and performance to identify potential network issues and inefficiencies. Develop and implement automated configuration management software solutions, including automated configuration management, software-defined wide-area networking, and Whitebox networking solutions for a reliable network to support global critical missions. You’ll collaborate with SMEs in cybersecurity, engineering, quality assurance, and operations to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then share your expertise during the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use. This is your chance to share your experience with enterprise network design and configuration, and working knowledge of dynamic multipoint VPN, while broadening your network engineering work. Join us as we help our client to provide a dedicated enterprise system for geographically separated units worldwide supporting critical national and global security missions.
