Supplier Payable Supervisor

The Opportunity: 

As a professional in Business Services, you have the experience and skills to ensure our Delivery Hub operations are effective, efficient, timely, and valuable for internal and external clients. You know how to interface with internal and external customers and leadership to understand needs and gain insight on Business Service performance.  

As the Accounts Payable, Supplier Payables Supervisor, you will perform supervisory, administrative and development responsibilities, including invoice processing oversight and quality control, adjustment voucher management, credit notes management, rate adjustments management, aging invoices management and resolution, supplier outreach and training, integration failures monitoring and resolution, expedited payments admin, specialized invoicing processes management, complex ticket resolutions, and policy enforcement. 

How You’ll Contribute: 

  • Monitor and direct daily operations, including  invoice audit, invoice processing, and follow-ups on aging invoices​, workload management, performance review, and problem-solving. 

  • Ensure timely processing and correctness of AP transactions. 

  • Ensure compliance to policies as established by management, including daily oversight and corrective actions.

  • Oversee the handling and allocation of credit notes from suppliers. 

  • Review and approve major adjustments to transactions and rates. 

  • Create and maintain regular reports on exception handling, presenting to management as required.

  • Monitor and address major system integration failures and partner with Suppliers and IT on continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Ensure timely execution and correctness of expedited payments.

  • Provide support for specialized supplier processes.

  • Support suppliers with communications and training for changes to invoice submission policies and procedures.

  • Act as a point of contact with high volume suppliers for daily operational issues.

  • Address escalated ServiceNow tickets. 

  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary data and answering queries related to AP transactions.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience with accounts payable  

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 

  • Experience in a supervisory role  

  • Knowledge of Government Contracting compliance

  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels 

  • Ability to identify and drive process improvements forward 

  • Ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy 

  • HS diploma or GED

 

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience handling government contract-related exceptions 

  • Experience with Concur, Ivalua, or Oversight 

  • Experience with bank reconciliation tools and platforms 

  • Experience with 1099 reporting tools and software 

  • Experience with electronic invoicing platforms like Transcepta 

  • Knowledge of E-Payables and related platforms 

  • Bachelors degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
