Linux Frontend Developer

This role is more than just coding. As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience with Linux system administration
  • 5+ years of experience with software development using Java or C#
  • Experience administering RedHat virtual machines (VM) and containers, including Docker or Podman
  • Experience developing software applications in Python, ReactJS, TypeScript, or JavaScript
  • Experience developing with Bash and Shell script
  • Experience with IP Networking and User Interface Design or Human Factors International (HFI)
  • Ability to write and review technical documentation
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE or DoD CompTIA 8570 Level 1 or 2 Certification, including Security+ Certification, within the 30 days of hire date

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization 
  • Experience with Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal 
  • Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance 
  • Secret clearance 
  • Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
