Lead Physicist

Key Role:

Leverage physics expertise and tools, including masers, lasers, and spectrometers to test and analyze physical materials and phenomena and to support S&T client challenges. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience developing requirements, planning work, and executing to contract deliverables

  • Experience successfully leading teams to execute on technical and program objectives

  • Experience managing subcontractors and interacting with clients and customers

  • Experience in a research and development (R&D) environment evolving modeling, simulation, design, experimentation, and testing

  • Ability to support complex technical and business objectives in a scientific research and development environment

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience doing work for the Department of Energy or the Department of Defense

  • Experience reviewing analyses associated with multi-physics modeling and simulation

  • Knowledge of testing and test planning practices

  • MA or MS degree
