The Opportunity:
Provide broad-based project management and technical support to Marine Corps environmental programs. Support environmental program planning, strategic coordination, budgeting, and contracting activities. Conduct studies, analyses, and evaluations, applying technical expertise in geology, hydrology, risk assessment, and environmental investigation and remediation. Assist with the analysis and interpretation of applicable regulatory, policy, and guidance requirements. Perform research, analysis, data evaluation, and data interpretation to produce actionable findings. Conduct environmental audits and assist with developing solutions to programmatic shortfalls that can be applied throughout the region. Assist with the identification of programmatic deficiencies and provide recommendations on the development of Plans of Action and Milestones. Develop and maintain databases and records related to environmental compliance, monitoring, and training. Assist with the management of Environmental taskers within the ETMS2 Task Management system. Assist with the preparation of briefings and participate in meetings with contractors, regulators, and stakeholders.
You Have:
5+ years of experience in an environmental, technical, or project management role for environmental investigation and remediation programs
Experience with providing strategic and technical input for site restoration activities, including site assessments and investigations, remediation technology evaluation and implementation, and site closure
Experience in interacting with DoD, state, and local agencies
Knowledge of Emerging Contaminants, including per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)
Knowledge of RCRA and CERCLA programs
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with JEGS/KEGS, MCO 5090.2, and Environmental Management
Experience with records management and project tracking
Experience with SharePoint
Experience with contracting and subcontractor or contractor oversight and field activities, including excavation, sampling, drilling, and well system installation
Experience with overall environmental investigation and remediation, including sampling and analysis, geology, hydrogeology, human health, ecological risk assessment, evaluation of remedial technologies and alternatives, remedy implementation, and site closure
Experience with DoD publications such as the DoDM 4715.05 Overseas Environmental Baseline Guidance Document (OEBGD), Japanese/Korean Environmental Guidelines or Environmental Engineering or Sciences
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management
HAZWOPER Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
