The Opportunity:

Do you want to develop training that will transform Information Warfare officer and enlisted training? As an instructional designer, you know that even the best tools and processes can’t have an impact without the right education. Constructing courses that teaches critical Information Warfare workflows and critical thinking requires a real passion for understanding the needs of your customer. We have an opportunity for an instructional designer who is committed to solving some of the toughest challenges across the intelligence dependent landscape by crafting effective training.

On our team, you’ll work with SMEs and instructors to capture your customer’s training needs and recommend the right learning solution to help them accomplish their mission. Putting the learner at the center of the training experience, you’ll assist in designing curriculum and scenarios.  You’ll build training material with SMEs and instructors, following the PADDIE+M model.

You know communication is key, so you’ll meet with SMEs, instructors throughout the process to discuss learning material and incorporate feedback. To ensure your solution is hitting the mark, you’ll collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick Model, then fine-tune your training for maximum impact. We focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers, so you’ll learn new tools and skills to develop a creative learning experience that will engage students.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with instructional systems design, training needs analysis, and implementation for adult learners
  • 3+ years of experience writing instructor lead curriculum and storyboards
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Instructional Design, User Experience, or Human-Centered Design certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Navy PADDIE +M process
  • Experience with Authoring Instructional Material (AIM) Content Planning Module (CPM) and Learning Objects-Module (LOM)
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,700.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
