We’re looking for a systems administrator with a solid background in Red Hat Linux to help us maintain the infrastructure of a DoD client.
As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You’ll help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in Red Hat Linux. You Have:
5+ years of experience with performing Linux or Unix system administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and configuration
Experience with Linux system log review and reporting
Secret clearance
BA or BS degree in IT or 7+ years of experience with systems administration in lieu of degree
IAT Level II Certification, including CompTIA Security+ or CASP Certification
Linux+ , Oracle Solaris 11, or Red Hat Linux certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with database administration, including MariaDB preferred
Ability to research and supply a cost-effective COA for a compatible backup solution
Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and Harden a standalone Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) server
Knowledge of NESSUS Scans and export Nessus results
Top Secret clearance
Clearance:
