Content Management Software Developer, Senior

The Opportunity:
As a software developer, you know how to create applications that are user-friendly, optimal, and customizable. You know the importance of organizing content in a visual way that meets UX standards and best practices. We need a software developer like you to help support our clients’ technology and improve their business workflows.

As a content management engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll assist in the complex design and development of both “out of the box” and module or plugin development content management system (CMS) frameworks. You’ll collaborate with your team as you build integrated solutions from scratch, implement customizable features to enhance existing systems, and support site maintenance.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience creating and configuring customized content management solutions

  • 3+ years of experience with basic programming languages and technologies

  • Experience with tools or web development stacks, including PHP, Python, or JavaScript

  • Experience developing and testing interfaces between software products and products of other vendors

  • Experience with content migration in Drupal or WordPress

  • Ability to develop detailed program specifications or documentation and participate in design and code reviews and address findings

  • Ability to create Agile solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team 

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in software development in lieu of a degree

  • Ability to obtain a Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) within 6 months of hire

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with legacy enterprise systems 

  • Experience with workflows, web parts, site maintenance, and APIs

  • Experience working in a microservices or distributed application environment

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, C#, C, C++, .NET, React, Angular, or NodeJS 

  • Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

  • Experience with database platforms

  • Experience with custom theming and custom module development

  • Knowledge of source control systems, including GIT

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
