Semiconductor Engineer, Mid

The Challenge:

What if you could use your semiconductor manufacturing skills to help stop threat actors or solve a cold case? As an expert in the processes around designing, manufacturing, and validating semiconductors, you can help provide new insights for advanced digital forensics. That knowledge is key when it comes to the cutting-edge techniques law enforcement needs to investigate modern technology.

We’re looking for an engineer who can use their skills to develop novel capabilities to recover data from damaged devices or investigate possible integrated circuit (IC) counterfeiting or tampering.

Empower change with us.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with working in a science or engineering lab environment, including experiment design, data analysis, iterative testing, and capturing lab notes
  • Knowledge of the material processes involved in semiconductor manufacturing and reprocessing for analysis
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Physics, or Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with a silicon wafer, chip, or package sample prep through physical and chemical means
  • Experience with Fault Isolation (FI) and Failure Analysis (FA) tools and techniques
  • Experience with embedded flash memory technology
  • Experience in imaging with the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) or Focused Ion Beam (FIB)
