The Opportunity:

We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to solve some of our clients’ most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe. 

As a Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) Network Engineer, you’ll bring your technical expertise to work alongside leaders in network infrastructure planning for the European Command (EUCOM). You’ll use your skills and expertise to research, design, plan, integrate, and support critical communications networks for the clients.

Work with us as we partner with different stakeholders throughout EUCOM and across the DoD to solve the complex challenges of integrated, interconnected, and highly resilient network design and implementation. You will Identify and evaluate the adoption of new platforms and technologies to protect national security interests and ensure the success of joint missions.

You Have:  

  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering role, including the architecture and design of complex distributed communications, networks, and IT systems and environments
  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise level campus and wide area networks
  • 3+ years of experience with DoD mission analysis or system of systems engineering in an operational communications support role
  • Experience with the JADC2 CONOP, including participation in high level working groups and planning conferences across the DoD
  • Experience architecting, designing, securing, installing, troubleshooting, and documenting integrated network and network operations solutions
  • Knowledge of IT management principles, including ITIL and the DoD Enterprise Service Management Framework (DESMF)
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience with defense mission systems, or Associate’s degree and 7+ years of experience with defense mission systems
  • IAT Level II Certification such as Security+, CCNA-Security, GSEC, CND, or SSCP Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working with senior DoD officials, including Joint Staff
  • Experience with DoD-level mission engineering activities
  • Knowledge of deep subject matter expertise in DoD mission, functional, or technology areas
  • Knowledge of AOC mission set
  • Ability to take the initiative and solve problems, produce senior-officer level presentations, briefings, and background papers, and provide detailed and well-researched reports
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute operations and exercises
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
