As a Defense Mission Professional, you’ll bring your analytical, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and research expertise as we explore customers’ difficult challenges to deliver innovative and operationally relevant solutions. You’ll guide the work we do to help shape U.S. Air Force’s security forces innovative training programs, doctrine development, and capability employment.
Your operational oversight and experience will guide training program development and design as well as inform the doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures for security force employment. As a trusted mission professional, you’ll integrate technologies into exercise planning, capabilities assessment, and lessons learned to improve force planning, posture, and partnerships across staffs and major commands.
Work with us and ensure the Air Force’s security forces meet operational readiness, professional education, training, and equipping strategies. Ultimately, your contributions to training and doctrine will help our security force defenders gain and maintain technical advantage and maintain security abroad.

You Have:
- 8+ years of experience in DoD operations planning, including Air and Space Force staff supporting operational mission areas
 - Experience with mission training or educational program design and curricula development
 - Experience with operational exercise design, planning, preparation, execution, and evaluation
 - Experience with DoD or Air Force doctrine development planning, staffing, and equipping strategies
 - Experience with office software, including spreadsheets, word processing, and e-mails
 - Ability to develop and monitor program training standards across geographically dispersed units
 - Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with action officers and senior military and civilian leaders
 - Ability to track performance, metrics, and indicators to inform quality deliverables and program performance
 - TS/SCI clearance
 - Bachelor's degree
 
Nice If You Have:
- Experience working on an Air Force Major Command staff
 - Knowledge of Joint or military service lessons-learned processes
 - Knowledge of military operational readiness
 
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
