Front End Developer, Mid

As a Front End Developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. We’re looking for a developer like you with the skills needed to develop software and systems from vision to production-ready. 

This role is more than just coding. As a Front End Developer, at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.  Work with us as we shape systems for the better.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience developing front end applications using JavaScript and JavaScript framework such as Vue and React 

  • 3+ years of experience in UI development, data analysis and visualization, and software design 

  • 3+ years of experience with HTML and CSS, including CSS frameworks, such as Material Design, Bootstrap, or Foundation 

  • 3+ years of experience with usability analysis, testing, and client–facing engagements, including design discussions and product demonstrations 

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED 

  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification within 6 months of start date 

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with multithreaded code, 3D drawing algorithms, and multiplayer networking, 3D gaming libraries such as Babylon.js and three.js 

  • Experience with Agile or Kanban software development methods 

  • Experience with using JavaScript mapping libraries, including ArcGIS, Leaflet and Mapbox 

  • Experience with ArcGIS Server, Portal and with custom web applications 

  • Experience developing backend RESTful micro-services using languages such as Python or NodeJS 

  • Experience with a task runner and build system to include Vite, Webpack or Rollup  

  • Experience in C#, Java, Unity3D, Python, or JavaScript 

  • Experience with testing frameworks, including Jest and VItest 

  • Experience with JavaScript package manager such as npm, bower or yarn 

  • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, and GitLab

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
