Aircraft Weapons Systems Expert

The Opportunity:

As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to guide teams as they solve some of our client's most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe.

As a defense mission professional, you’ll bring your fighter aircraft weapons expertise to work on projects for the security cooperation mission area. You’ll provide operational, tactical, and technical expertise to support the development of export and foreign disclosure guidance for U.S. systems and associated tactics, and provide policy analysis based on political-military, weapons system technology and capabilities, fighter tactics, training and operations, and security considerations. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems and policies, supporting U.S. engagement with foreign military and government officials on weapons systems and training programs. You’ll guide the work we do for the security cooperation mission area, and the solutions we deliver that enhance relationships with international partners.

You Have:  

  • Experience with fighter aircrafts F35, F22, or F18 systems
  • Experience as a pilot or weapons systems operator in fighter platforms or fighter or attack aircraft
  • Experience with Fighter Aircraft Weapons and Tactics
  • Knowledge of foreign militaries
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite software applications
  • Secret clearance
  • Associate's degree
  • Graduate of the U.S. Air Force Weapons Instructor Course, Navy Top Gun Program, Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor Program, Marine Corps Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course, Air Force Fighter Weapons School, Army Aviation Center of Excellence's Advanced Warfighter Training Program, or Coast Guard Advanced Helicopter Rescue School

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with actively flying an aircraft
  • Experience with DoD acquisition or budget processes
  • Experience with systems engineering
  • Experience with project management
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate professionally and effectively with action officers, general officers, flag officers, and senior executive services
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Completion of 500+ flying hours

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
