Enterprise Security Architect

The Opportunity:

Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to a system architecture—but you know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyber engineering skills to lead the design and development of secure systems for cyber protection teams. We’re looking for an architect who can create solutions for customers that will withstand even the most advanced cyber threats.

As a lead enterprise security architect, you'll develop strategies and plans for physical and virtual cyber ranges to support Air Force and Joint mission partners’ training, exercises, mission rehearsals, and testing needs. You'll leverage realistic environments to meet mission partner requirements, and advise Air Force clients on infrastructure enhancements and modernization, including facility, connectivity, and compute or storage infrastructure, to satisfy technical and resource needs. As a security architect at Booz Allen, you’ll coordinate work with internal and external teams to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s IT needs and goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solutions, so you’ll advise on new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You’ll guide the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives, and customize solutions to maintain security while meeting mission requirements.

This is a chance to lead a team to make a difference in the security of warfighter communications. You’ll oversee efforts to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices. You’ll broaden your skillset into areas like automating attack chains, developing scenario content, and supporting senior operator training while building peace of mind in a critical infrastructure. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to use cybersecurity solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges.

Work with us we improve cyber operator effectiveness and bolstering cyber protection team proficiency and readiness.
