Full Spectrum Capture and Business Developer

Key Role:

Perform estimating and pricing activities for proposal efforts, develop and present cost strategy, identification, and mitigation of cost-related risks, support cost-related shaping activities, and work with other cost-related functional teams, including contracts, subcontracts, pricing, and business development to support the submission of a fully compliant, competitive, and compelling pricing response. Evaluate projects through financial feasibility studies, market research, and planning. Identify market opportunities and work with technical teams to grow profitable revenue for Booz Allen. Maintain client organization call plans and establish engagement strategies with the market delivery leads. Serve as a high-visibility advisor to the firm's leadership, fulfilling multiple roles in the opportunity life cycle, including capture management, proposal management, volume lead, and writer. Pursue management activities, marketing material development and finalization, knowledge management, and research and analysis. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with Military and DoD Full Spectrum Cyber and serving as a program manager before transitioning into business development
  • 5+ years of experience with business development, including capture management, proposal management and development, and writing and editing in proposal style
  • 5+ years of experience in identifying and qualifying all business development programs with an emphasis on opportunity qualification and shaping
  • Knowledge of US military budget, investments, acquisition processes, presentations, and development of technical papers, volumes, or similar products
  • Knowledge of business development, including opportunity qualification, capture strategy, customer visits, customer relationship development, relationship development with competitors, and team leadership
  • Ability to think strategically
  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Air Force preferred
  • Experience with contracts, subcontracts, pricing, and business development
  • Experience with Air Force Cyber Operations and Acquisition Organizations
  • Experience with online tools used by the Federal Government for solicitations
  • Knowledge of the development, application, and maintenance of offensive cyber strategy, tools, and analytics
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent analytical presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; Master’s Degree a plus

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $134,600.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
