The Opportunity: 
At Booz Allen, you can apply your expertise to investigate the most pressing cyber threats impacting mission areas. This is your chance to take on the adversary’s perspective, identify their motivations and recommend ways to harden systems, reduce their attack surface and thwart malicious actors.    
 
As a cyber threat analyst on our team, you’ll collect, document, assess and analyze raw cyber threat information using tools and technologies. You’ll conduct strategic assessments on adversarial systems and networks and provide tactical analyses and influential recommendations for network operation. You’ll be the key to discovering and correlating timely threat information and deciphering what represents a real risk. You’ll play an active role in language-related analytical services, transcription, interpretation, adversarial research, monitoring public available information, adversarial monitoring capabilities, all-source information and employing collection tools for data analysis.

You Have:  

  • 8+ years of experience with providing analysis and linguistic support to the United States Government and Non-Governmental Organizations

  • 5+ years of experience with all-source research and assessments

  • 5+ years of experience with advising senior leaders

  • 3+ years of experience with capturing dialectal and speech variations in audio and video content

  • 3+ years of experience with translating large datasets for quality and accuracy

  • Experience with identifying, verifying and validating inaccuracies and authenticity of source material

  • Knowledge of desktop applications for word processing, spreadsheets and database software packages

  • Ability to score a 2+ Russian proficiency level on the AFCTL test

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:  

  • 10+ years of experience overseas, including in Eastern Europe

  • Experience with geopolitical analysis

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
