Configuration Management Specialist, Mid

Key Role:

Compile and maintain technical documentation such as change orders and specifications. Examine documents to verify completeness and accuracy of data and resolve discrepancies with document originators. Maintain a computerized document control records management system or hard copy documents to ensure compliance with all applicable and required standards. Analyze and maintain procedures and standards for maintaining documents and change control of documents, including document development, approval, production, distribution, and amendment. Plan, direct, and manage document and content management life cycles and with either structured or unstructured metadata, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience in a professional work environment

-3 years of experience with configuration management actiities

-Knowledge of configuration management systems or processes, including CM Pro

-Knowledge of the Department of the Navy's configuration management processes

-Ability to work in cross-functional teams

-Ability to oversee the program execution of configuration management processes
-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with DoD and military clients

-Possession of excellent analytical and problem solving skills related to configuration and data management issues

-BA or BS degree in a business or technical field
