Cost Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Provide cost estimation, analysis, and general program support to a major government client. Work as part of a cross-functional team to conduct business analysis to streamline enterprise license agreement activities for sustainment operations. Apply expertise in business consulting, conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, analyze and interpret cost and programmatic data, and perform cost estimating and analysis. Participate in cost benefit analyses, analysis of IT industry practices, and provide recommendations for government decisions. Communicate effectively with software vendors and all stakeholders. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with performing detailed financial analysis, cost analysis, or cost estimating

-Experience with Microsoft Excel

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with supporting software agreement implementation or similar work

-Experience with working on a team in a multi-disciplinary collaborative environment

-Experience with performing strategic sourcing and enterprise software management activities, including researching and recommending strategies and performance metrics, preparing and reviewing business cases for enterprise software agreements, analyzing, assessing, reconciling, and ensuring the accuracy of vendor-provided product and pricing lists and software product sales reports, coordinating conference presentations and meetings, performing setup, configuration, and operation of video teleconferencing, supporting efforts to implement IT asset management and optimize acquisition of commercial off the shelf (COTS) IT hardware, software, IT services, and implementing ITAM policy

-Knowledge of DoD 5000.2

-Ability to produce high quality and accurate products

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-DoD Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Certification
