Naval Aviation Program Analyst, Senior

As a Naval Aviation Program Analyst you’ll bring your full range of knowledge and experience in leadership; integration of Aviation systems, operational and tactical maritime warfare; command and control, maintenance, Navy training systems, installation management, and your expertise in managing people, policies, training, logistics, and Aviation readiness to work alongside thought leaders in consulting, analytics, and digital solutions to improve today’s Naval Air Forces. You’ll use your skills and expertise to analyze problems, develop solutions, and work with Navy leaders to improve Naval Aviation.

Work with us to help prepare Naval Air operating forces and staffs for deployment and for success in their operational missions.

You Have: 

·       24+ years of experience in Naval Aviation, including as a Major Commander afloat or ashore  

·       2+ years of experience on a major Echelon III or above staff or Joint or Combatant Command military staff

·       Knowledge of Aviation readiness policies and systems

·       Ability to develop, produce, and present briefings, issue papers, presentations, and documents at the tactical through strategic levels at the General Officer/ Flag Officer level

·       Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time, as needed

·       Secret clearance

·       Bachelor's Degree 


Nice If You Have: 

·       Experience in Navy requirements development and Navy Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processes

·       Experience in Aviation maintenance planning and maintenance management

·       Experience as a Warfare Area Commander, deployed with a Carrier Strike Group or Amphibious Ready Group

·       Experience in managing the employment, integration, or development of Navy C5I systems or networks

·       Experience in Navy logistics, training, or personnel readiness systems, policies, and management

·       Experience developing or validating Aviation Doctrine, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP)

·       Knowledge of Navy tactical training systems, including the use of Live, Virtual, and Constructive training

·       Ability to develop and present training in Aviation tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP)

·       TS/SCI Clearance  

·       Master's Degree
