As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape the BMC Remedy solution by leading engineering and architecture for our client. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like cloud, IT Infrastructure. Grow your skills by merging systems engineering and cloud, data fabrics to create a highly adaptable ITSM solution.

Your role will involve identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues within BMC Remedy applications, conducting root cause analyses, and integrating Remedy with enterprise monitoring tools. Proactive monitoring of Remedy applications, performing risk assessment, remediation, and performance tuning will be crucial aspects of ensuring the system's optimal functionality. You will be responsible for conducting user training sessions for both IT and business teams, crafting comprehensive documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, and user guides. In addition to these responsibilities, you will play a pivotal role in the customization, configuration, upgrading, and further integration of the Enterprise Monitoring and Management system.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT system engineering role, including developing architecture and design of complex IT systems environments

  • 3+ years of experience with deploying, engineering or administering BMC Helix ITSM products

  • 3+ years of experience managing mid- to enterprise-scale networks

  • 3+ years of experience with architecting, designing, securing, installing, troubleshooting, and documenting integrated server or network solutions

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ CE and Windows OS Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with managing BMC Remedy ITSM platform

  • Experience with managing ServiceNow instance

  • Experience with enterprise server, storage, networking, software, and application services or equivalent depth in a single solution platform area

  • Experience with cloud-based technology

  • Experience with Python or PowerShell scripting

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Information technology, or Engineering

  • CASP or CISSP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
