Ship Anti-Surface and Surface Warfare Readiness Operations Analyst

Key Role:

Design test and data collection plans for exercises. Lead observer aboard exercise units to coordinate observation and data collection efforts to support exercise reconstruction. Develop exercise messages and reconstruct exercise events. Analyze exercise results in accordance with the Analysis Plan. Serve as the primary author of analytical reports, such as Reconstruction and Analysis, Cross or Focused Study, and Annual Reports.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience within Navy ship, submarine, aircraft operations and warfare tasks
  • 2+ years of experience with managing complex projects or programs
  • Experience with the use of analytical software tools, including the MATLAB computing program or Statistical Analysis Software
  • Ability to prepare briefings, reports, and correspondence that are technically correct
  • Ability to analytically solve complex problems
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
