Surface Warfare Analyst, Senior

As a Surface Warfare Analyst, you’ll bring your full range of knowledge and experience in leadership, integration of shipboard systems, operational and tactical maritime warfare, command and control, maintenance and modernization, Navy training systems, installation management and managing people, policies, training, logistics and shipboard material readiness to work alongside thought leaders in consulting, analytics and digital solutions to improve surface ship readiness. You’ll use your skills and expertise to analyze problems, develop solutions and work with Navy leaders to improve surface warfare. Work with us to help prepare Navy surface forces and staffs for deployment and success in their operational missions.

You Have:  

  • 20+ years of experience in Surface Warfare, including as a Surface Commanding Officer, afloat or ashore  
  • 2+ years of experience on a major Echelon III or above staff or Joint or Combatant Command military staff
  • Knowledge of Surface Navy readiness policies and systems
  • Ability to develop, produce and present briefings, issue papers, presentations and documents at the tactical through strategic levels at the General Officer or Flag Officer level
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
     

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience in Navy requirements development and Navy Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processes
  • Experience with Surface Navy maintenance planning and maintenance management
  • Experience as a Warfare Commander or on a Warfare Commander Staff, deployed with a Carrier Strike Group or Amphibious Ready Group
  • Experience managing the employment, integration or development of Navy C5I systems or networks
  • Experience with Navy logistics, training or personnel readiness systems, policies and management
  • Experience developing or validating Surface Navy Doctrine, Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP)
  • Knowledge of Navy tactical training systems, including the use of Live, Virtual and Constructive training
  • Ability to develop and present training in Surface Navy TTP
  • TS/SCI clearance  
  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
