As a systems engineer on our team, you’ll design, develop, prototype, and operate 4G/5G Long Term Evolution (LTE) and Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) systems using modeling and systems engineering best practices. You Have:

-1+ years of experience with requirements management and use of Universal Modeling Language (UML) for complex projects

-Knowledge of 3D modeling and the development and interpretation of engineering drawing and documentation following best practices and standards

-Ability to perform rapid-prototyping activities to develop mechanical-electrical housing, mounting, and power systems for sensitive electronics, including Radio Frequency (RF) components

-Ability to problem solve and develop tests to troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, and extrapolate results to a system

-Ability to identify stakeholder priorities, develop testing methods to validate stakeholder concerns, and verify key performance parameters for unmanned systems and 4G/5G LTE technologies

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) for requirements management or Rhapsody for UML preferred

-Knowledge of the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and the use of Visio and other visualization tools for documenting systems a plus

-Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

-Ability to travel up to 25% to support military testing and exercises a plus

-Ability to perform rapid-prototyping fabrication activities through the use of 3D printing, soldering, wire or cable termination, mills, drills, and other standard hand tools preferred

-Secret clearance preferred

-BA or BS degree in Systems or Electrical Engineering preferred
